In this modern era, have a discussion without meet with the person is easy, not only discussion but also learning process. For example if we want to improve our speaking skills we can learn from the native speaker without spend much money. We can have a video call or Skype with them, but of course we also have to have native speaker friends to communicate with them.
In the class, this way can help students to improve their listening skill and speaking skill. Don’t worry if in the class, there is one native speaker only but there are many students in the class because in the Skype we can have a video call together in large member,
but there always a limitation for the number of people but again don’t worry about it because some other students can take turn the chance of having conversation with other friends. So we can listen together what have the native speaker spoke. From those activities there is also character building in the students, even it about charity and about building their mettle to speaking with the native speaker and many friends can listen it.
Out of the class, we can have many online discussion that can do through video call. Many online tools that can help us, such as Whats app, line, Skype, Google hangout, etc. Here is the example of my group’s discussion.
